The Holy Spirit is not Rude?

A Drew Marshall comment meaning the Holy Spirit does not force change. Worth exploring. So we need to ask for help in specific areas if we want change. We need to recognize areas where change necessary. The love felt through the Holy Spirit and by reading the Bible allow us to have new desires? Hmm. More thought necessary.

On the list but least of which the language that comes out of my mouth, there is a lot of crap which I would like change now. Brings up a thought also I have been having on eternity; how we must change for the Kingdom to actually be here on earth, that in us which will be burned out of us upon meeting God face to face to make this possible and what will remain. If we are a walking tower of sin, we will be saved through Jesus, but what will remain after this necessary change? If we are predominantly still problems which can not be a part of the perfected world, that will be burned away. What will remain will give only a hint of the person we were. Granted, we will be lovely and life will be great. But what if we are able to carry most of our being into that next world by making those changes now? Is this desirable? Will that make us a more rounded person?

The Holy Spirit is not rude and will not force change on us. Well, here at least. Hmm. Interesting.
